Change is in the air.
PAYNE & MISERY won second place in the Westbow Press writing contest at the Orange County Christian Writers Conference in May, 2010. That means publication is just around the corner. After six years and ten re-writes, at last this book has a chance to become an overnight success! Heady stuff.
Thanks to those of you who keep coming back, waiting patiently for publication information. Soon I'll have news of the date you can hold an actual book in your hand. I expect it to be later this year. In case you can't wait, I've included the first chapter on the MY BOOKS page.
Meanwhile, my editing service has been picking up (thank you, God) and I've had additional opportunities to network with other writers and learn from them as well as to practice what I've learned. Book #3 in Christine Sterling's Golden Years, PARRISH THE THOUGHT, is completed, so I'll be shopping for a publisher for that one as well.
A new idea for a series popped up in a dream. I've begun to plan it and it seems quite promising so far--a mystery with an obituary writer as sleuth. More about that later.
